I bought a signed matt hasslebeck football and it didn’t come with a certificate of authenticity. I was wondering if there is any way that i can go to a sports collectibles store and they will give me one after they get a good look at it. I would really like to know because if i was going to sell it a certificate of authenticity makes a big difference in price. Thanks. GO SEAHAWKS!!!
i had the certificate, but now i can’t find where it is. Like you said you buy as a fan, i would never want to sell it, but if worse comes to worse and i have to then i would, i am an avid collector and would never want to sell it.

Lesson1: Don’t buy memorabilia without a certificate.

Lesson 2: This isn’t an investment…you buy as a fan…not as a dealer.

Lesson 3: … will be…getting any reputable place to validate authenticity will be expensive.

I’d enjoy what you have – maybe one day someone will offer to buy it.
