Tour de France 2010 Stage 3 is from Wanze to Arenberg Porte du Hainaut covering 213 kilometers. Tour de France 2010 Stage 3 is called a frightening stage because of the cobblestone that will create havoc again. In this road, four big sections over the last 30 kilometers will include 13.2 kilometers of cobbles.
Start town: Wanze
Situated in the Meuse valley, between Liege and Namur, the municipality of Wanze consists of six villages and a hamlet. Its shopping, housing and business areas are experiencing rapid growth.
Finish town: Arenberg Porte du Hainaut
Situated in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region of France, Porte du Hainaut is a “Communauté d’Agglomération” (urban district community) of some 150,000 inhabitants. This vibrant area has been boosted by renewed economic growth and its strong tourist appeal.
Four large cobbled sections – a total of 13.2km – over the closing 30km will be crossed by the riders, which could see overall favourite Alberto Contador (Astana, pictured left) struggle. The winner in 2007 and 2009 could be targeted by his GC rivals in a chaotic stage. Tour De France 2010 Live Stream Online Stage 3 starts at 14:30 CET.
